Ormond Beach held its fifth-annual Christmas in July event Saturday, July 23.
This event started as something to benefit the community and local shops, but has since grown. With over 50 locally-owned shops involved, along with the historic Casements building hosting children activities and the help of volunteers, the event was yet again a success for Ormond MainStreet.
The activities took place all around Ormond Beach's downtown district, including letters to Santa, scavenger hunts, cookie decorating, free snacks and sweets, meet-and-greets with Santa, and the "Elf on the Shelf" hunt where the kids could win prizes, raffle tickets and gift baskets. There were also deals for adults at most shops and restaurants involved.
